Since the dawn of time man has been searching for the meaning of what it really means to be a man?

He has fought bloody wars for a country that spit is his face, he has worked endless hours hoping to come home to a house that will say good job and I appreciate your hard work. Only to find TV commercials that cater to women and a spouse that is exhausted from raising kids all day and when he goes to bed, the person next to him seems so distant.

He is afraid to speak his truth, because freedom of speech actually costs and he doesn’t want to be the subject of the next culture canceling. He wants to be respected by his wife, only to become second to the children. He feels inadequate amongst his peers, in his career, in his home, and in his country.

So he does what the past fathers told him to do. Suck it up….be a man!!!

We have been trained to be machines rather than human beings. It is no wonder why we have an inner world where we don’t feel anymore. So we turn to illusions for comfort. The illusions of status, sex, food, watching our heroes in sport.

Man was created to conquer and take dominion, but where does he go when he feels too exhausted to fight and no one understands that is he just trying to figure out what it means to be a man…

We go to church yet our faith falls flat. We fantasizes about other places, careers, partners. The truth is, we have never been given the tools to own our identity and create a new reality. Until now…
